Sheri Betts, MBA
President, Maximum Impact |
Sheri is a strategic career development expert and dynamic trainer, facilitator, coach working for more than 20 years in the leadership development field. Her special expertise includes publishing on the topics of career development and job search helping clients join, stay and grow in organizations, especially government. Ms. Betts works with individuals, government agencies, non-profit and organizations large and small. Her mission is to disseminate information that can be applied to empower clients to get results in whatever career development issue they face. Her processes and techniques to teach skills are FAST, EASY & FUN. She is the author of “5 Easy Steps to Getting a Six Figure Job in the Government.”
Her clients have included Time Warner Book Group, The Vanguard Group, National Institutes of Health, Girl Scouts of the USA, National Weather Service, Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility, and National Coalition for Latino Leadership, Johns Hopkins University (MBA Fellows-Adjunct Professor), Executive Leadership Council, and INROADS, Inc. Her goal is to make ‘maximum impact’ on any service she provides.
Prior to starting her own business, Sheri worked 14 years within Corporate America in various leadership positions with Xerox, Pepsi and Avon and INROADS (a recruiting and training private non-profit), Drake Beam Morin (outplacement firm) and All Bases Covered (IT Consulting Firm).
Ms. Betts received her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis and MBA from UCLA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California and received a Project Officer certification in 2007 as well as has a certification in Emotional Intelligence using the MSCEIT instrument and MBTI. She is qualified to administer the Career Architect and DISC instruments as well as train in the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
